Good Day Gives Back

Good Day Gives Back is built on a simple idea:

When we have the opportunity to help, we should.

At select Good Day Community Markets, Good Day may purchase useful items directly from local vendors and provide them to organizations helping people in need.

A small business makes a sale.

Someone receives something useful.

One purchase can help both.

How It Works

Whenever possible, we ask local organizations what they actually need.

Good Day can then purchase those items directly from participating vendors.

That may include:

• Hygiene products
• Socks and blankets
• Packaged food and water
• Everyday essentials
• Pet supplies
• Other requested items

Give thoughtfully. Give respectfully. Give something useful.

Our Vendors Get Paid

We do not want giving back to mean asking small businesses to give away their products for free.

When Good Day purchases an item for this program, the vendor is paid normally.

That means one purchase can:

Support a small business

and

Help someone in the community.

Dignity Comes First

Good Day Gives Back is about privacy, dignity, and respect.

We do not believe someone's hardship needs to be put on display.

There are no expectations attached to what is given.

No one owes Good Day anything in return.

Sometimes helping make someone's day a little easier is enough.

Why We Do It

Good Day is about more than markets.

It is about community.

We may not be able to solve every problem, but we can help when the opportunity is there.

Sometimes that means something as simple as buying a useful item and getting it to someone who needs it.

Not for recognition. Simply because it matters.

The types of items purchased, the vendors selected, the organizations involved, and the timing of any distribution may vary from market to market.

Contributors should not expect to choose a specific recipient, organization, vendor, product, or use of funds unless Good Day confirms otherwise in writing.

Participation by vendors and community organizations is also voluntary and may change at any time.

Keeping It Local

Whenever possible, we work with organizations near our markets.

That helps keep support connected to the same communities that support Good Day and our vendors.

Needs and participating organizations may vary by market.

A Little Good Can Travel Far

A vendor makes a sale.

Someone receives something useful.

A customer helps make it possible.

And a little good moves through the community.

Good Day Gives Back

Support small. Give with dignity. Care for community.
